Rob is a Sr. Manager, UX at Lowes
Rob was trained in creative problem solving at the Savannah College of Art & Design majoring in Industrial Design.
He was previously a Graphic Artist / Front-End Developer for Blair inc, an exhibit house in Washington DC working with clients such as Raytheon, the National Defense University, the Pentagon and more.
While at Lowes Rob has held a variety of positions. Joining originally as a UX designer within Lowes digital he worked his way up to the position of Lead Architect. Notable projects include the Lowes.com Redesign, Lowes for Pros Redesign, and the first mobile Store App and Point-of-Sale POC. In 2018 had made a career change to product as a Product Manager, Supply Chain technology. He then moved into Store Tech and again worked his way up to Lead Product Manager, Store Order Management Systems. In early 2023 Rob came back to Lowes digital though this time as a people leader and presently leads 14 designers across the Pro, Fulfillment, Omni-Selling & Account experiences.
Rob excels at bringing enterprise teams together towards a shared vision of whats possible. Whether its through a business case, process flow or story-telling; motivating teams and moving them in a direction has become a found strength. Rob is a proven leader and has done so at the team level as an individual contributor, as the lead level as an influencer and as a Manager responsible for 14 direct reports.
Recent Wins
He occasionally will be found on the Tennis Court, undertaking a DIY project (seriously, you name it I’ve done it!) backpacking in beautiful Western NC, or most importantly raising his 3 children. Most recently he has set a goal of completing the Spartan Race “Tri-Fecta” series.
